Conversational AI assistant accessible from any webpage. Open the sidebar and start typing.

Page awareness

Bravo can read and analyze the content of your current tab. Ask questions about any webpage, email, or document — right from the sidebar.

Integrations

Gmail (summarize threads, search inbox), Google Calendar (find meetings, summarize events), and Google Drive (search files, get quick summaries and answers).

Google integrations are connected separately from Bravo sign-in and can be managed at Dashboard → Connections.

File uploads

Attach files via the paperclip icon or drag-and-drop. Folders can be dragged onto the sidebar and are automatically zipped for upload.

Supported formats: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, and ZIP files. ZIP files are navigable as directories.

Google permissions

Bravo requests certain Google permissions (OAuth scopes) to power its Gmail, Calendar, and Drive integrations. For details on each scope and how it's used, see the Privacy Policy.

Billing & Credits

Plans

Free — $0/month, 100 credits per month. No credit card required.

Starter — $5/month, 500 credits per month. Best for regular use. Upgrade from Dashboard → Plans & Billing.

Free credits reset on your signup anniversary. Starter credits reset at the start of each Stripe billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over.

What are credits?

100 credits = $1. Credits map directly to actual AI model costs with no markup. To see credits used for a specific message, click the ellipsis menu (⋯) under the message.

Credit packs (add-ons)

Starter subscribers can purchase add-on credit packs: 500 credits for $5 (one-time). Packs expire 6 months after purchase and are consumed after your monthly credits run out. Credit packs and refund credits do not reset — once used, they're gone.

Purchase from Dashboard → Plans & Billing → "Add Credits".

Which credits get used first?

When a message costs credits, they're deducted in this order:

  1. Refund credits (one-off credits from our team)
  2. Free plan credits
  3. Starter plan credits
  4. Credit packs (used last)

Within the same type, the grant expiring soonest is used first.

Cancelled or errored messages

If a message is cancelled or errors out after partial work was done, credits are charged for that work. Retrying picks up where it left off — you won't be double-charged.

Check your balance

View your credit balance and usage at Dashboard → Plans & Billing. You can also ask Bravo "how many credits do I have?" directly in the chat.

Usage history

Download a CSV of your credit usage from Dashboard → Plans & Billing → "Usage History". Select a date range (up to 90 days).

When credits run out

  • At 10 or fewer credits: a dismissible warning appears.
  • At 0 credits: sending is blocked until credits reset or you buy more.

Cancellation

Cancel anytime via Dashboard → Plans & Billing → "Manage plan". Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds.

Your plan stays active until that date — you can reactivate anytime before then via "Manage plan". On cancellation, Starter credits expire immediately and you're downgraded to Free with a fresh 100-credit grant. Any remaining credit packs survive the downgrade and stay usable until their own expiry.

Uninstalling the Chrome extension does not cancel a paid subscription.

Payment failures

If a payment fails, your plan enters a "past due" state. During this time your existing credits remain usable, but no new credits are issued.

Stripe retries automatically over ~2 weeks. If a retry succeeds, your plan returns to active and new credits are issued. If all retries fail, your subscription is cancelled and you're downgraded to Free with 100 credits.

Account & Personalization

Dashboard

Your dashboard is at /dashboard. It includes Plans & Billing, Personalization, and Connections.

Changing your name or avatar

If you signed in with Google, your name and avatar come from your Google Account settings. Update them there, then sign out and back in to resync.

If you signed in with email, set your name via the nickname field in Personalization.

Personalization settings

Personalize Bravo at /dashboard/personalization. Settings apply across all conversations.

  • Nickname — how Bravo addresses you
  • Occupation — your role or field, for more relevant framing
  • Custom instructions — persistent guidance for how Bravo communicates. Examples:
    • "Always respond in Spanish" or "Use British English"
    • "Be blunt and direct" or "Use dry humor"
    • "Keep answers under 3 sentences" or "Always use bullet points"
    • "Skip basic explanations" or "Assume I know Python"
    • "Ask before making assumptions" or "Challenge my reasoning"

Changing font size

Open the menu (three-dot icon, top right) → "Zoom" row → pick 75% to 125%.

Troubleshooting

Installing or upgrading

  • Install from the Chrome Web Store.
  • To upgrade, restart Chrome — it auto-updates extensions on restart.
  • If that doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall from the Chrome Web Store.

Chrome extension issues

  • Chrome's Enhanced Protection may show a "not trusted" warning for newer extensions. This is normal — Bravo is reviewed by Google.
  • Make sure the extension is enabled in chrome://extensions.
  • Try refreshing the page or restarting Chrome.
  • Another extension may be conflicting. Disable all except Bravo, then re-enable one by one.

Getting logged out frequently

Usually caused by an ad blocker blocking cookies from *.bravo.ai. Configure your ad blocker to allow them. Bravo does not serve ads.

AI responses slow or stuck

  • If just one message: cancel it via the stop button and retry.
  • If all messages: check your internet connection. Public wifi sometimes blocks streaming.
  • Close and reopen the sidebar. Messages time out after ~15 minutes.

Uninstalling

  • Open chrome://extensions and delete Bravo AI.
  • Go to Google Account Connections to remove access.
  • Uninstalling does not cancel a paid subscription — cancel via "Manage plan" first.
  • For permanent data deletion (GDPR), email humans@bravo.ai.

Google account mismatch

This means the Google account in your browser tab differs from the one connected to Bravo. Switch to the correct account in the browser tab, or reconnect via Dashboard → Connections.

Reporting bugs

  • If there's an issue with a specific message, click the thumbs down icon on that message.
  • You can also tell Bravo directly — it'll forward your feedback straight to the team.
