Bravo can connect to Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive so it can answer questions using your actual emails, meetings, and documents. Each integration is connected separately and managed at Dashboard → Connections.
What you can do once connected
- Gmail — search and summarize threads. "Find the last email from Sarah about pricing." "Summarize this thread." "Summarize the PDF attached to Alex's email."
- Google Calendar — find events and pull details. "What meetings do I have this week?" "When is my next 1:1 with Alex?" "Help me prepare for my meeting this afternoon."
- Google Drive — find and read Docs, Sheets, Slides, and PDFs. "Find the latest budget spreadsheet." "Summarize the project plan." "Pull the key numbers from this spreadsheet."
What Bravo can — and can't — do
When you connect Google, Bravo gets read-only access using these OAuth scopes: gmail.readonly, calendar.readonly, drive.readonly.
Bravo can:
- Read messages, threads, and labels (Gmail)
- Read events and their details (Calendar)
- Read files you have access to (Drive)
Bravo cannot:
- Send email, change labels, or modify Gmail settings
- Create, edit, or delete calendar events
- Create, edit, delete, move, or share Drive files
- Use your data to train AI — Bravo never trains on your content
Bravo only retrieves data when you ask a question that needs it. Opening the sidebar doesn't read anything in the background.
If you ask Bravo to rewrite, clean up, or transform a Gmail attachment or Drive file, Bravo creates a separate downloadable file in the chat. It does not modify the original email, calendar event, or Drive file.
How to disconnect
You can revoke access at any time from either side:
- In Bravo: Dashboard → Connections
- In Google: Google account → Connections
Either revokes Bravo's access immediately.
Troubleshooting
"Google account mismatch" — the Google account in your browser tab differs from the one connected to Bravo. Either switch accounts in the browser tab, or reconnect via Dashboard → Connections.
